Webmaster and IT Support - ArabNet - Lebanon

The ArabNet Webmaster and IT Support will be responsible for maintaining the ArabNet website and will also function as part-time office network administrator. The webmaster will be responsible for keeping ArabNet’s website updated with the most current information about its activities, and ensuring that the systems underneath (back-end and server management) are operating smoothly and bug-free. The webmaster will also be responsible for handling all HTML email campaigns.

Responsibilities
- Maintain ArabNet websites, with a focus on front-end development (HTML / ajax / javascript):
- Create and lay out content on web pages
- Manage daily edits / updates to the sites as required
- Create and modify appearance and settings of site
- Support designer with site design as required
- Test site for bugs, cross-browser compatibility, user experience, speed, and other factors
- Handle the creation of HTML email campaigns
- Manage web servers, including hardware and software, to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain ArabNet office network, act as the server / network administrator and support users with IT-related issues (10% of the time only)
- Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website
