Education Development Center is seeking a Database Manager to support the Monitoring & Evaluation Director in managing all M&E activities including data collection, processing, and reporting. This position will report to the M&E Director and will be located in Beirut, Lebanon.
Essential functions include [but are not limited to]:
- Assists with the design and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation system that measures the effectiveness of project initiatives including school rehabilitation, academic improvement and community involvement;
- Works with M&E staff to ensure that the project database is responsive, adaptive, and comprehensive;
- Works with M&E staff to ensure that project data collection, storage, and analytical capabilities are compatible with existing MEHE systems;
- Ensures accuracy of all data entry;
- Assists with the generation of reports in compliance with USAID procedures and agreements in the award;
- Improves data processing and reporting;
- Helps build staff and counterpart data processing and reporting capacity.
