The Drupal Web Developers will report to the ISRD Manager. The position is available as a full time position and for freelancers.
- 4+ years of strong PHP coding experience
- 2+ years of strong front and back-end Drupal CMS experience
- Strong experience developing Drupal 6 and/or 7 modules
- Strong knowledge of MySQL
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and jQuery
- Understanding of integration concepts (restful services, API development, ...)
- Producing standards-compliant code
- Creative mind with an eye towards usability
- Strong affinity for social media
- Understand the implications of SEO decisions
- Ability to participate in design and architecture reviews of new applications and major system enhancements
- Ability to work as part of a team, understanding problems from another team member's
- perspective, and, at times go beyond the job description to achieve a broader team goal
- Come up with ideas to improve functionality, reliability and performance, and make our systems more flexible to business change.
- Knowledge of Zend Framework and/or Symfony 2
- Knowledge of XML and other web standards
- Cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing and optimization experience
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
- A willingness to document code
- Excellent debugging skills

Description
- Create, manage and maintain the appearance, look and layout of a highly interactive commercial website.
- Create design prototypes, including the graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content of the web site.
- Ensure that the layout of the site and content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Experience supporting international websites utilizing multiple languages.
- Support the maintenance and updates of the website.
- Must have an existing portfolio of Drupal websites designed; demonstrating design and development.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Work independently with customers and engineers under direction of project managers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers on a multicultural team.
- Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and the executive team to implement the message and vision.
- Continuously build expertise with respect to industry trends and innovations.
Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in web / graphics design.
- Three years experience designing websites across multiple browsers.
- Two years experience developing websites using Drupal
- Experience building Drupal Modules.
- Proficient in the use of web technologies including Javascript, HTML 4, json, xml, flash and (PHP / Java).
- Experience Level: 3 years

- Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and to work under pressure, typical of all start-up environments.
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
