Junior developers will be responsible for creating and maintaining he website, web services, applications.
The primary area of focus for development is centered on aspects of ecommerce sales and an online auction bidding platform.
Candidates must be creative and involved in project development initiatives while also focusing on technologies that promote the company’s overall e-commerce presence.
Duties include:
- Responsible for integrating the frontend and backend, for coding Artscoops website and ensuring that there are no bugs.
- Working with the HTML team to build coherently new features
- Thoroughly vetting and testing there own code to minimize production issues
Based upon performance and overall contribution to the success of the company, this position offers increased levels of responsibility.
Required Skills:
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years relevant experience in programming with the following skills: C#, ASP.NET, Ajax, jQuery, web service, SQL server 2008.
- Ability to understand HTML 5, CSS 3, Java script
- Ability to handle multiple projects against established timelines with limited supervision.
- Good English Communication (written and verbal skills)
Reports to: Technical Expert (Direct Manager, n+1) and Managing Partner (n+2)
Positions Supervised: None
Job Type: Full Time Employment (8:30am to 5:30pm)
