The ArabNet Webmaster and IT Support will be responsible for maintaining the ArabNet website and will also function as part-time office network administrator. The webmaster will be responsible for keeping ArabNet’s website updated with the most current information about its activities, and ensuring that the systems underneath (back-end and server management) are operating smoothly and bug-free. The webmaster will also be responsible for handling all HTML email campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ArabNet websites, with a focus on front-end development (HTML / ajax / javascript):
- Create and lay out content on web pages
- Manage daily edits / updates to the sites as required
- Create and modify appearance and settings of site
- Support designer with site design as required
- Test site for bugs, cross-browser compatibility, user experience, speed, and other factors
- Handle the creation of HTML email campaigns
- Manage web servers, including hardware and software, to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain ArabNet office network, act as the server / network administrator and support users with IT-related issues (10% of the time only)
- Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website

Beirut Arab University is seeking qualified experienced individuals to fill the vacancy of a Webmaster
- Responsible for the design of BAU web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.

Requirements
- B.S in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience as a webmaster.
- Holds a MCSD certificate.
- Must be extremely knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the web:
- Knowledge of XAMPP package with all its components (Apache HTTP, MySQL, PHP, Perl is a MUST)
- Experience in ASP.NET 4.0 Framework.

- IIS 7
- Experience with electronic design tools is a PLUS.
- Must be creative, have self-initiative and be able to work with all levels of BAU staff.

Webmaster/SEO Specialist - ClearTag - Lebanon
The Webmaster/SEO Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and making changes to clients' websites so they are optimized for search engines. The SEO specialist will also identify proper keywords for SEO implementation.
Responsibilities
- Optimize on-site content for maximum visibility and ranking in the major search engines; this includes HTML, site structure, as well as page layout and navigation considerations.
- Performing technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis.
- Identify and implement innovative SEO strategies.
- Monitor, review, and update website traffic reports
- In-bound link development from relevant sites and directories.
- Work with a wide range of media for proper link building, such as articles, online press releases, social media/blog content.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years relevant experience and a proven ability to achieve top rankings and generate leads

- Experience using web development tools
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment.
