As a senior quality engineer you will be responsible for ensuring quality through out the development lifecycle starting with requirement definition all the way to code rollout. You will help establish quality guidelines, establish process, and champion quality as a core component of any product development effort. You are required to have strong technical knowledge of system design, programming best practices. You will need to help developers in writing code level automation using tools such as PHPUnit, SimpleTest, as well as write and automate UI level testing using tools such as Selenium.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product development/programming experience. PHP development is a plus.
- 3+ years of proven experience with structured testing methodology.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- h4 knowledge of SQL capabilities and query optimization.
- Background in load and performance testing.
- Good knowledge of browser rendering capabilities, limitations and standards.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS/AJAX coding capabilities. HTML5 and CSS3 are plus.
- Experience building international web sites and have a solid understanding of localization best practices.
- Excellent English written / verbal communication skills
- FTP/SSH/Versioning systems usage skills
- Bachelor´s degree a must.
