Project Manager - Cleartag - Lebanon

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- 5 or more years direct work experience working in project teams involving software development.
- 3 or more years direct work experience as a project manager involving software development.
- Hands-on experience with common operating systems such as Microsoft and Linux.
- Clear understanding of web and application development technologies and platforms.
- Clear understanding of enterprise information systems from an architectural level.
- Clear understanding and experience of the full project development lifecycle, from concept development to implementation, deployment and maintenance.
- Clear understanding of all project deliverables and artifacts required to adequately document and drive the entire project lifecycle.
- Ability to write clear, testable requirements and work with Quality Assurance to create and execute test plans to fully test the product.
- Ability to tightly manage scope and to successfully manage the process of change requests.
- Real-world experience and proficiency in using project scheduling tools (including Microsoft Project) to create detailed projects plans to manage day-to-day and long term tasks, including critical-path analysis.
- Ability to estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, including working with hiring manager to appropriately staff to project needs.
- Ability to manage several projects in parallel with a common resource pool, effectively managing resource allocation and dependencies across the projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with upper management, fellow project and program managers and project team members regarding timelines and risk factors.
- Ability to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify, quantify and mitigate risks using a risk management matrix.
- Ability to use a systematic and accurate approach to estimate and track project costs, including personnel costs, capital expenditures and expenses throughout the entirety of the project, from inception through deployment and maintenance.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within the MENA region up to 20% of the working week.
- Fluency in English.

Additional Skills Desired
- Prior role in software development (2 years minimum).
- Experience with software programming languages such as PHP, C#, Java, C++.
- Fluency in Arabic and French.
- Experience working in the banking sector, especially with internet banking platforms.
- Experience working on mobile platforms such as iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian-based platforms, etc.
- Experience in Social Media tools (Facebook, Twitter) from a development perspective.
- Knowledge and experience with common Content Management Systems (Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, etc).
- PMP Certification.
