Our Web Developer will be responsible for creating, designing and maintaining our clients' websites according to specification.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit CSS sheets, manipulate HTML code and cut images from provided mockups
- Create elegant and creative mock-ups and web pages.
- Add and edit JavaScript code to maintain lively effects on the designed websites.
- Work together with colleagues of Design, IT and Marketing to improve usability.
- Conduct experiments and revisions for improving mock-ups.
Qualifications
- Graphically strong web design skills.
- Advanced experience/expert knowledge of HTML and CSS development (asset: knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3).
- Hand-crafted HTML in English and Arabic.
- Advanced knowledge of web standards and experience with table-less HTML code.
- Ability to create cross-browser compatible code (all major browsers, including IE6).
- Familiar with common browser bugs (especially IE) and their respective fixes.
- Ability to create functional (D )HTML code from design mock-ups.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop (create web images and mock-ups from layered PSDs).
- Basic knowledge of Flash and Action Script.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with internal processes.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Possess a keen eye for details and excellent problem solving skills.
