As a Software Programmer and Web Developer at FreeBalance you will have the responsibilities for assessing and analyzing all the website and related software applications requirements, as well as developing all the required websites, software programs, tools, scripts, templates, samples, checklists, reports, manuals, training and support documentation.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing the web and software tools and programs based on the functional requirements;
- Participate in all phases of full life-cycle development of the project including requirements analysis, software design, software implementation, testing, deployment, training and user guide preparation;
- Employ best practices and a standardized IT methodology during the Analysis, Requirements and Detail Design phases;
- Execute and lead the preparation of all required technical documents, reports, plans and outputs as required by the contract;
- Maintain alignment of the project outputs and results with the missions, visions and the expectations;
- Maintain the software application designs applicability and congruence to the business requirements.
Education and Experience
- University graduates in Computer Science, software/database or related computer technology programs
- 5+ years experience in web applications development and deployment;
- 3+ years experience building and developing software applications and programs;
- 2+ years experience in administering websites and portals;
- Ability to design and build web e-services
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in the public sector considered an asset
