Our Solution Architects are seen by our customers as the seasoned, technical experts of our technology. Our SA's collaborate with the sales team and liaise with the technical delivery teams to bring the best solutions to our customers. Solutions Architects are responsible for driving solutions across our RHEL Product Suite including Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Migration Center, and more.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in the delivery and implementation of Red Hat products and offerings. Show a diverse understanding of complex operating systems, design value driven architectures, and present the application and ROI of those technology solutions. Deliver compelling recommendations which directly result in the closing of new sales.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's business and IT environment; collaborate with the sales executives in assessing the potential application of Red Hat products. Utilize your skills as a technical solution expert and your understanding of Open Source industry best practice to deliver timely results customers which exceed expectations.
- Demonstrate mature judgment in the selection of techniques and technologies for delivering solutions. Interact in an authoritative fashion with -Red Hat sales team and customer senior management.
- Demonstrate that you can communicate value, progress and status of sales opportunities to all stakeholders. Share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes. Demonstrate that you can work as part of a team.
- Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. Prepare detailed product specifications and implements detailed customer installation plans.
- Represent Red Hat to the customer and the customer to Red Hat in sales-related matters.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success in a technical pre-sales role in support of Senior Sales Executives, including excellent presentation and documentation skills.
- Communication and technical skill sets which allow the individual to develop relationships at engineering, commercial and CXO levels throughout organizations.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat platform products including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Network Satellite, MRG, and other related technologies.
- Advantageous to have additional knowledge of technologies as Clustering, Directory Services, Identity Management, etc. and/or programming languages of Python, Perl, Java etc.
- Strong passion for open source technologies

- Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team whilst demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen
- Fluent in English required. Arabic language skills an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across the MENA region up to 75%.
