Quality Control Engineer - Murex - Lebanon

The Quality Control mission is to assure the highest quality standards of the MX product within the Murex production chain. Quality Control is organized by themes (Financial Products, Risk, Middle Office Back Office (MOBO), Integration and Tools) that map to our worldwide Developers and Product Managers organization. The roles in the department vary and can encompass many responsibilities such as improving the value chain, interacting with product managers and consultants to stay in line with the product evolution and the way it is used by Murex end users, ensuring efficient and relevant quality control methods for the enterprise platform.

Description
- Master, enrich, enhance, and extend the coverage of the specific module assigned
- Support Murex clients by regularly providing enhanced versions of the software with production-quality

Role
- Analyze tests, report detections, and ensure appropriate follow up of reported issues (regressions and impacts)
- Maintain the test packages to ensure their efficiency and compatibility with the continuously evolving platforms
- Develop and continuously enhance test packages to increase coverage according to consultants’ and developers’ requirements and in accordance with clients’ needs and feedback as well as system evolution
- Interact with team mates and cross functional teams (developers, product managers, consultants) within the various assigned missions in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Provide feedback to theme leader on progress of issues resolution and tasks and escalate problems when necessary
- Acquire and share module specific knowledge with team members and other teams according to need and demand
- Suggest, and if needed, help implementing enhancements on existing processes and procedures

Your profile
- Engineering degree (bachelor or masters) or equivalent from a reputable university
- 0-2 years experience
- Financial background is a plus
- English is a must. French a plus
- Knowledge in technical environments such as SQL, XML, Unix, Windows
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio…)
