- Operate, Maintain and Supervise the IP/MPLS network and its related services to achieve and enhance service stability, network performance, availability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide higher technical support to NOC and other operations teams with regards to IP/MPLS infrastructure and escalate to vendors the major issues.
- Supervise IP/MPLS services’ implementation covering the installations, testing & handover.
- Coordinate with different ITC departments regarding design, implementation and handover.
- Review, update and evaluate all ITC technical documents related to IP/MPLS network.
- Execute,evaluate and supervise the tasks related to planned activities and change in the network.
- Produce periodic reports about the network activities, network performance and capacity.
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer /communication engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum six (8) years of experience in networking and telecom field with minimum four (5 )years of experience on MPLS technology.
- Cisco Certified professional (CCNP or CCIP ).
- Ability to maintain a large network with complex network technology.
- Strong understanding of telecom networks.
- Excellent on MPLS technology setup and configuration including L2/L3 VPN and traffic engineering.
- Excellent experience on routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, ISIS and BGP).
- Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
- Excellent on using Microsoft Visio.
- Excellent in English language (read, write, communicate).
- Full time and on-call 24×7.
