Director of Corporate IT - MarkaVIP - Jordan

MarkaVIP is currently looking into reengineering its business processes in order to scale more efficiently. To achieve that objective, MarkaVIP requires a robust IT arm to cater for all its departments needs and play the role of an IT Business Partner.

The Director of Corporate IT will report directly to the MarkaVIP’s CTO and:
- Understand and demonstrate MarkaVIP’s core values and Leadership Principles
- Actively seek to understand MarkaVIP core business processes, and ensure continuous alignment between IT and other departments
- Set-up and coordinate the activities of the Corporate IT department
- Establish a governance model to manage the changes to ERP
- Become the IT co-owner of the transformation program along with the BPM department
- Participate in the elaboration of the analytics tools (BI, CRM, Performance Management) and own the implementation of related reports and dashboards
- Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the teams under management
- Identify individual strengths of team members and actively foster career advancement within MarkaVIP
- Estimate resources, schedule deliverables, motivate teams, resolve conflicts, assess and reduce risks, and adhere to standard methodology and quality processes
- Manage deliverables of internal teams (IT, Finance, etc.) during the implementation and coordinate with the vendor to keep track of their tasks and milestones.
- Develop and proactively manage project plan: specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, and identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources, including vendors milestones
- Manage project team members, external vendors, including consultants, contractors etc. engaged on the project, also leadership skills, leading clients thru successful implementations, previous employers thru profitable growth and peers thru thought leadership
- Provide regular status reports on project using standard PMO tool set, including regular
Senior Management updates
- Actively monitor project budget and manage costs, reconcile expenditures and projected expenses, in conjunction with the accounting and budget offices
- Proactively identify and communicate issues and risks, notifying and/or escalating to the appropriate manager for assistance and resolution. Create and execute Risk Management plan

Requirements
- At least 7 + years of experience with IT project management and business system implementation, with experience in the following areas: systems analysis, project management, application design and implementation, systems architecture and business analysis
- Has relevant IT Strategy / IT Roadmap development and implementation
- Must have Full Life Cycle implementation experience with large Corporate systems including but not limited to: ERP, Business Intelligence, and CRM
- Capable of developing governance models for major change initiatives
- Carries out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
- Solves issues by proactively identifying and provide solutions root cause barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality
- Continually measures and evaluates all work processes using Kaizen, Lean, DMAIC, and other improvement methods
- Overcomes time zone and geographic distance to drive cross functional initiatives and ensure compliance with business policies
- Must have experience with structured business analysis using tools and techniques and demonstrated use and knowledge of Project Management methodologies and processes
- Strong Budget management skills
