Description
- Must have proven experience as a senior application DBA with preferably life-cycle and database design experience.
- Senior application DBA with 5 years or more Oracle experience in an OLTP environment with version 10 and above.
- The role covers an entire application life-cycle, so the candidate will need to show experience in database design, support of multiple groups of developers and testers as well as production support.
Requirements
- Good command of Unix
- Partitioning
- Shell scripting & PL/SQL
- Performance tuning (sql & instance)
- Experience with Oracle RAC and Database Replication
- Expert in Oracle advance queues
- Experience in implementing and managing Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Expert in Oracle Dataguard
- Expert in Oracle RMAN
- Experience with RDBMS design
- Good knowledge of using Linux and windows operating systems
- Experience with Oracle Datamining
- Knowledge of large Data-warehousing solutions (terradata, Netezza)
- Knowledge of large 1TB plus OLTP systems"
