Front End Developer - Cleartag - Lebanon

As a Front End Developer, your main responsibility is the production, modification and maintenance of websites and web application's user interfaces. This involves working in HTML, CSS and Javascript to turn designs into cross-browser compatible web pages. You'll also work closely with server-side developers to introduce interactivity to web applications by integrating their server-side code into your layouts.

- Be able to provide time estimates for your designated tasks.
- Be able to contribute to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)
- Provide the designers with technical restrictions and define what is feasible in a given timeframe.
- Contribute to the production's development standards.
- Be able to attend meetings with clients and propose technically sound solutions for their front-end problems.
- Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly with regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies; keep team members informed as appropriate with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
- Be constantly refining your skills, and be an early adopted of new technologies and trends.
- Have the ability to fast prototype product ideas and deliver quick iterations on concepts.

As a front-end developer you can demonstrate your technical prowess through your portfolio containing the best projects you've worked on so far. The more user-friendly, adaptive, consistent, and visually appealing they are the better chances you have in joining our team.

- High proficiency in valid HTML, XHTML and CSS.
- Extensive knowledge in browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- High proficiency in Javascript related libraries (JQuery, Mootools, Dojo etc..)
- Knowledge in emerging web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility.
- Experience working with version control systems such as SVN.
- Some experience in AJAX techniques.
- Knowledge in HTML best practices and web standards
