- Direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans.
- Direct the information and data integrity of the company and its business units.
- Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and objectives.
- Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integration in support of business goals and objectives.
- Prepare enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing and dissemination of information.
- Ensure the security of the information systems, communications lines on the server’s computers and equipment as requested by the Central Bank.
- Planning and implementing network security, including setting up firewalls, managing host security, applying cryptography to network applications and regulating file permissions.
- Ensure hardware, software and network upgrades, install, re-installs, changes and relocation are efficiently completed as required.
Skills
- Computer Science, Computer Programming, IT, Network Engineering
- Expert in MS Office, major security software, network servers, APIs, and all server and computer hardware.
- Experience with online trading software is a plus.
- Experience in networking systems and languages including Novell, UNIX, and VMS.
- Minimum one year experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, and sound knowledge in core .NET 'C#' or Php programming
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations
- Experience with implementation of information technology integrations in a large division/company.
- Knowledge of computing and computer network hardware, software and peripheral equipment, network security, techniques and applications.
