Looking for outstanding web developers to be responsible for developing innovative web applications. Our web developers work closely with our project managers, strategists and design team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. They are capable of full cycle project leadership including application architecture, design input, site layout/user interface, database design, and PHP programming.
The right individual for this role will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers and other members of the development team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations
- Communicate to the project manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
- Provide technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful project development
- Turn design and user interface mockups into functional websites/applications
- Grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment
Required Experience & Skills
- BS in computer science or a related field
- 2 years minimum Object oriented PHP web programming experience
- 2 years minimum experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS with cross-browser compatibility
- Experience in writing queries in MySQL or similar relational database
- Experience in back-end and front-end development
- Development and implementation experience using extensible web authoring tools
- Hands on HTML 5 and jQuery is a plus
- Proven experience with the Facebook API is a plus
