Transmed is looking for an IT Help Desk. The main purpose of the job is to provide technical assistance, support and solutions to all users, to monitor and ensure proper functioning and utilization of the computer systems, and to administer business / IT systems to have them up and running.
Description
- Monitor current systems and issue reports
- Handle computer problems and determine source (hardware, software or network connection related) and advise on appropriate actions and solutions to maintain good system performance
- Solve any software bugs and hardware issues locally and with vendor
- Troubleshoot and solve users issues
- Keep track of all hardware repairs by asset number
- Install operating systems and any software needed on computers
- Configure all types of hardware equipment to have them up and running properly
- Make sure software licenses are renwed on time to protect the company from legal action
- Train users on the software
Qualifications
- Diploma in computer science
- At least 1 year experience in PC support function
- Basic hardware and networking knowledge
