Role
Responsible for the delivery of high quality technical consultancy to ensure the successful implementation, upgrade and continuing use of Thomson Reuter's Financial AML and Market Surveillance Transactions Monitoring solution
(TransWatch). This including solutions training and post implementation support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for Thomson Reuters Anti Money Laundering and Market Surveillance Transactions monitoring solutions implementation and support.
- Understand thoroughly the compliance objective of the AML Transactions monitoring
- Insure that targeted project scope, business requirement and specifications meet agreed acceptance criteria.
- Responsible for all aspects of project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, implementation and Go live.
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
- Liaise with customers to analyse, determine and document their business requirements and prepare and configure the technical environment for installation
- Analyse, resolve/escalate problems encountered during the implementation of systems
- Unit test the software in pre-productions / test environment to ensure system running as per documented specification
- Create and carry out go live procedures and documentations
- Deliver comprehensive training to all IT and Compliance users, support staff and management on the systems use and its capabilities
- Advise the client IT operation and Compliance team on housekeeping tasks as post implementation that allow the client to maintain and improve the system performance
- Produce reports and project documentations as required
- Document problem resolution that will be available for future reference
- Provide strong project management methodology and developed required project charters and project definition documentations
- Lead the project through agree methodology and project planning

- Meeting agreed project plan and project schedule deadlines
- Developing and delivering related project documentation
- Insure that targeted project scope, business requirement and specifications meet agreed acceptance criteria
- Get customer approval and sign-off for the related deployment

Qualifications
- B.Sc. (Computer Science
- Certified Database Professional
- Data Warehousing Implementation Specialist
- Project Management Professional equivalent Certified
- IT Service Management Foundation (ITIL) certified is a plus
Soft Skills
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to successfully manager time and work projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel 50-75%
- Fluency in Arabic in addition to English would be a plus
Skills/Experience:
- 8/10 Years experience in Database Management, Data Architecture and modelling, Solution Architecture and software integration, IT operations Management, Project Manager, Business Analysis, Business Process Re-engineer
- Well versed in end-to-end quality-driven project implementation
- Commendable communication, stakeholder coordination and relationship management skills
- Conversant in implementing Complex IT projects within IT Governance framework, delivering the expected high value and performance with risk management consideration & compliance assurance
- Understanding of Governance, Risk, Audit and Compliance is a plus
- Experience with Trading and Capital Markets business or environment is a plus
- Experience in AML transactions monitoring tools is a plus.
