Job Summary & Purpose
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration/implementation, operation, and maintenance of system software. Automate business requirements of the company on ERP business solution platform.
Key Accountability:
- Assure system documentation by directing the writing of detailed descriptions of the system components.
- Supervise the training of user department personnel in the use ERP system or business solution applications.
- Recommend and direct software changes and updates to keep department systems up-to-date.
- Monitor any software changes. Assist in designing special forms for user departments.
- Develop methodology to expand flexibility of programs or systems to meet changing needs of user departments and to accommodate future expansion without necessitating a major redesign of the systems.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Providing daily swift support in addition to tackling problems
- Technical development of reports and applications
- ERP setup and configuration
- Analyze and assess with IT Manager new or daily business requirements relevant to ERP system prior to implementing or performing any change on the system (in case it requires any amendment in system setup, configuration or software development)
Knowledge & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of ERP Implementations.
- Awareness of current technologies and developments in the area of expertise.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role
- Good knowledge in JD Edwards (Report Designer, Application Designer)
- Good knowledge in SQL
