Keeward are looking for an excellent web and PHP developer. She/he will be responsible for the implementation of a wide variety of Web-based products using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and AJAX, mostly on the WordPress and Magento platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for starting and completing projects on a scheduled basis, inclined to maintain highest standard of quality, self disciplined enough to adhere to PHP and
Wordpress coding conventions and standards, and work with other team members.
Requirements
- Must be a team player, possess a good attitude and be self-disciplined
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS. HTML5 and CSS3 are a plus.
- Experience with WordPress plugins, themes and APIs.
- Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks like Dojo, jQuery, etc.
- Experience with open source projects like: Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, Magento, etc is a plus.
- Ability to understand technical documents, Design Documents.
- Experience with professional media creation.
- Understanding of project development methodologies.
- Understanding of team development/source code control (Git, Subversion, etc.)
- Awareness of MVC and other standard design patterns is a plus.
Other responsibilities include
- Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications
- Maintaining existing codebase, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features
