Doha, Qatar based e-marketing company is seeking an experienced PHP Developer/Software Engineer to develop and maintain highly successful medium and large scale websites.
Based in our head office in Doha, Qatar, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Translating our business requirements into technical requirements
- Full life cycle software development
- Management of external development resources/partners
Skills
- At least 2+ years PHP experience is essential (Including our preference for PHP ProBid, Cake & Zend experience on medium and/or large scale sites)
- Diverse knowledge of MySQL is essential (Including optimization/normalization experience)
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of current web 2.0 technologies (Know the "cool" programmer trends that are floating around the internet)
- Ability to design/develop a site for a Linux environment
- Experience with a revision control system (preferably subversion)
- Ability to take direction and to be a quick thinker with an ability to think outside the box and able to use all programming resources possible to get something done.
- Acknowledge the importance SEO friendly coding styles
- SEO knowledge and experience would be considered a significant plus
- Great communication skills are a must
