Description
In this position, you will be acting as a technical expert, solutions architect and industry knowledge point, both internally and externally.
In conjunction with our sales and marketing group, you will engage with top tier companies to help define/refine and assist our customers in bringing next generation home energy management solutions to the market.
Responsible for building the technical value proposition and in providing the input for total cost of ownership modeling.
Act as the EMEA single point of contact to understand and articulate the technical requirements of the EMEA market. This will include influencing future product development/future product specifications, business strategy development and planning.
Skills
- You must possess a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with typically have 7-10 years relevant experience. The ideal candidate will come with Energy sector experience and have will have worked across an entire products life cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan and execute a strategy over a 3 year horizon.
- Experience (from a technical perspective) of taking a product to market, with a strong understanding of the support requirements and infrastructure required for enabling multiple routes to market.
- Ability to work independently, be proactive, multitask effectively and exhibit good influencing skills with strong customer orientation and willingness to travel worldwide.
- A history of working on platform architecture\solutions development within the Electrical Grid Network for example: Renewable integration, Distributed Automation, Substation Automation, Smart Metering Infrastructure or Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS).
- Known in the energy industry as evidenced though papers, conference speaking, standards participation, articles printed and other publications.
- While not essential, experience working with Intel's product lines is an advantage.
