Senior Project Manager - Edarat Group

Job Purpose
To take total accountability for planning, structuring, managing, leading and executing large scale projects or programs of high risk and technical complexity. To ensure that company’s solutions are delivered to customers within the timescales, budget and to the quality expected.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for planning, initiating, executing, controlling and closing projects for external clients in accordance with established corporate and PMI standards.
- Set expectations upward regarding revenue and profitability projections.
- Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with PMI methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of consulting engagements as measured by project goals and customer satisfaction.
- Manage scope and mitigate risk across multiple projects.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for all projects under his direction.
- Manage to and achieve revenue goals set for projects.
- Prepare the Project Charter and Project Plan whereby the scope, goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, organizational structure, staffing level, team members, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, and deliverables are identified and defined.
- Assume responsibility for, and work to strengthen existing client relationships by delivering IT projects on time and on budget
- Plan and implement cost-effective project management services for current clients and new clients.
- Help to determine new, creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities.
- Manage projects according to agreed upon parameters in a timely manner
- Coordinate and provides guidance regarding definition, and review of project scope based on customer’s expectations and implied needs.
- Address elevated billing issues when they arise.
- Serve as key participant in team and client meetings.
- Confront issues openly and quickly.
- Tactfully communicate sensitive information.
- Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.
- Effectively communicate relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers in other practices.
- Assist in the evaluation and redesign of practice offerings.
- Work in conjunction with the sales team to follow up on sales leads within practice.
- Grow long-term relationships with clients to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships in order to capitalize on project success to win future opportunities and offer repeated sales.
- Fully engaged with customers by delivering presentations, building a good business relationship with the clients, visiting the client on a regular basis and making sure that communication happens at least twice a week per project
- Perform Pre-sales meetings and develop Project Charter and Master Project Plan then Communicate with internal divisions and customers for approval.
- Verifies the Statement of Work and specifies the scope and out of scope areas after meeting with the clients.
- Communicate and document the project scope
- Maintain the scope throughout the phases of the project
- Develop WBS and coordinate with Team Leaders to assign resources by skill
- Manage the day-today activities and details of the project
- Coordinate work of different team members
- Issue Purchase Requests (PR) and manage subcontractors
- Plan and ensure equipment delivery
- Carry out support activities and facilitate work of Subject Matter Experts assigned
- Report weekly progress report to Customer Project Sponsor, Direct Manager and COO
- Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, risk, quality and scope.
- Ensure Project Documentation is completed, submitted to customer and filed (signed PAT, FAT and updated MOP)
- Control Project Scope by issuing Change Requests and modifying project plan accordingly. Controls approved Change Requests and generate respective Change Orders
- Ensure customer acceptance of deliverables
- Obtain Project/milestone Sign-off (SDA), ensure customer’s acceptance of related invoices and conduct Project Exit Review and hand over to support.
- Finalize Project contractual issues
- Ensure customer satisfaction is attained throughout the project life cycle

Dynamics
- Continuous coordination with SMEs
- Report to PMO Team Leader
- Coordinate with Business Partner Logistics Department
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Technical Consultants to create and develop solutions proposal as requested by customers
- Fully engaged with customers
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Coordinate with third-party Consultants and Auditors

Skills / Attributes
- BS in Computer Science or Information Systems, OR BE in Computer and Communication Engineering, MS is a plus
- 4 to 6 years of Information Technology (IT) and Project Management (PM) experience on enterprise projects, providing service and solutions in many markets (i.e. government, healthcare…)
- Must have a solid IT background backed by extensive PM experience
- Team management experience, comfortable matrix managing project teams from various technologies
- Experience of the whole project life-cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
- Ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
- Must have solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deal effectively with project sponsors and business clients on projects and accounts of all sizes
- Solid track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Able to plan and manage large projects and solutions (in annual budgets in the seven figure plus range)
- Experience with large private and public corporations
- Must be able to lead small and large teams in a matrix environment
- Must be able to manage both technical and business resources on projects
- Must be able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and sponsors on projects
- Highly desired to have experience dealing with Technology providers and OEM vendors such as CISCO, Microsoft, HP, Sun, Juniper, VERITAS, BMC …
- Experience in Project Management Office standards, processes and services

Required to be promoted as Project Manager – Grade 3:
- “CCNA” or “CCNP” or “CCVP” or “CCSP”
- or “SUN: SPARC Entry, Mid & Storage Entry”
- or “MCSA and MCP” or “MCSE”
Required to be promoted as Senior Project Manager - Grade 1:
