Description
- Develop, implement and maintain object oriented back-end applications with PHP, MySQL
- Build and maintain a highly-scalable modular back-end platforms
- Develop new components and add-ons (modules) for back-end applications (CMS...)
- Create and manage MySQL Databases
- Create and implement advanced JavaScript/jQuery solutions
- Create social networking widgets using web applications API (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube...)
- Work closely with the front-end development team and assist them with code implementation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot web-related issues including PHP bugs or MySQL queries, JavaScript errors...
Candidate Profile
- Must have a minimum of 3 years in professional back-end web development experience
- Very Strong knowledge in LAMP based web solutions
- Strong understanding of OOP and MVC PHP development frameworks
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
- Good understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others, and the use of their APIs and code libraries
- Good knowledge of blog CMS such as Wordpress
- Good knowledge of CSS with attention to browser-specific CSS compatibility
- Ability to generate very clean and reusable code
- Experience working with web standards and related processes (W3C)
- Hands-on knowledge of current web mark-up or scripting languages
- Ability to interact competently and coherently with front-end developers, technical director and project manager
