The Registrar’s Office is currently searching for an Student Information System (SIS) Coordinator.
Main Functions & Responsibilities:
- Researching and exploring new and advanced features of Banner in order to maximize its use.
- Recommending and implementing new Banner features at the functional level.
- Ensuring that students’ data in Banner is correct and complete.
- Recommending data cleansing initiatives for Banner.
- Running and maintaining Banner jobs and features related to students’ records, program and course status and registration.
- Coordinating, organizing and proposing enhancements for on-line registration.
- Creating and updating contract sheets in cooperation with academic units.
- Maintaining and updating CAPP so as to enhance assessment of academic progress towards graduation and curriculum planning and advising.
- Coordinating with IT, Schools and SDEM in relation to Banner related aspects of the portal.
- Acting as the coordinator for issues related to the Banner academic functions.
- Performing other duties pertinent to this job, as requested.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Universities, preferably in the Registrar’s office.
- Minimum a Bachelor degree, preferably a Master, from a renowned university.
- Preference to have a background in computer science or computer engineering.
- Preference to those with knowledge of the SCT Banner system.
- Preference to those with knowledge of the CAPP.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to work in teams.
- Strong ability to present technical systems to academic and senior management community.
- Ability to convert functional requirements to IT requirements.
