Unix System Administrator - Network Operation Center
Looking for a Unix system administrator to join a dynamic team in managing a server farm in a 24 x 7 x 365 production environment.
Duties
- Day to day administration of Unix servers
- Administration of Bind, SMTP and other applications
- Plans, installs, tests, and maintains systems and storage
- Contribute to the selection, design, and implementation of hardware, and technical solutions to solve business problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a related field
- Ability to follow procedures, install application upgrades and patches
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete projects on time.
- Ability to maintain focus and perspective in a busy production environment
- Familiarity with Bind, scripting languages and databases a plus
- Must be a quick learner
