Aheeva Lebanon is looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead. The responsibility is to test and evaluate the various aspects of the projects in order to ensure that the standards of quality are being attained.
Duties
- Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality
- Producing test plans and ensuring they are followed
- Assigning work to QA analysts
- Automating tests where appropriate
- Producing and prioritizing bug reports
- Reproducing bug reports from the field and writing clear steps to reproduce
- Running cross-platform testing (Windows and Linux)
- Verifying the load, scalability, and performance requirements have been met
- Coordinating with the IS department to ensure required test platforms are available
- Working with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
Skills
- Excellent communication skills required to document and report on defects and other software issues
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Functional UNIX (Linux) and Windows experience (including scripting and automation) required
- Programming knowledge of C++/Java, PHP an asset
- Experience with automation tools preferred
- Experience with MySQL, VMware and Asterisk
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years experience in a Quality Assurance or Development role
- 1+ year experience in project and staff management
