Experienced and energetic Oracle EBS Application consultants to support our Oracle's EBS Implementation. The role covers a wide range of consulting activities, typically addressing the needs of the Oracle Application end-users; the position is based in Dubai. The ability to travel to other locations across the ECEMEA (Eastern & Central Europe, Middle East & Africa) region will be an important aspect of this role.
- Will be responsible for implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing Oracle EBS SCM applications.
- Is responsible for hands-on configuration of Oracle respective apps, implementation, Document the flow of information within the business process, and support of Oracle E-Business suite user's community.
- Lead the analysis, Troubleshooting and research of business opportunities and develop solutions and recommendations.
- Will also be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development & performance measurement and Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections as well as user manuals to describe installation and operating procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Using business process engineering techniques, develops technical solutions and management processes to achieve overall objectives by means of implementing systems or enterprise wide solutions, using Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management software products family.
- Develops and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.
- Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
- Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
- Works with the architect and project manager to develop a budget for the external design effort.
- Assists customers to determine business needs.
- Records and publishes detailed minutes of discovery sessions.
- Understands and documents business processes.
- Converts a customer requirement into a quality solution.
- Writes pseudo code for complex logic (without writing the detailed code).
- Develops detailed, task-orientated estimates to build and implement the system.
- Identifies changes in scope expansion and manage customer expectations of scope.
- Owns the external design and provide support throughout the development and system test phases.
- Performs a system test planning and execution as required by the resource skills mix on a project.
- High-level estimation of effort for design, development and testing of design solutions (ball-parking).
- Detailed estimation of effort for development and testing of design solutions.
Skills
- Bachelors degree from a fairly reputed computer science, information systems or Business is required; Oracle apps /R12 certified; an advanced degree in a Logistics Management discipline (the planning and control of the flow of goods and materials through an organization or manufacturing process) will be considered a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry and/or software experience in the area of Oracle EBS SCM products family
- Previous implementation experience either as a customer or as an implementation consultant would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment would be an advantage
