Think Media Labs, a research-based Digital Media Strategy agency, is seeking a talented iOS Developer to join the team.
Ability and commitment is more important than current skill set. Looking for an energetic and creative software engineer who is enthusiastic about social media, is professional, independent, and willing to do what it takes to generate business.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, develop, and support applications
- Apply technical expertise in the implementation and maintenance of applications
- Manage development projects from concept to launch
- Communicate with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- Keep updated with the latest technologies.
- This is a full time position.
Skills
- 2+ years of web development experience
- iOS development experience, preferably with applications in the app store (please provide a selection of apps you have worked on)
- Experience with launch of a consumer iPhone / iPad application is preferred
- Experience with location based services, GPS, etc. preferred.
- Experience with C/C++, Objective-C, Cocoa, OpenGL ES, Core Animation,
- Programming, XML Parsing, Threading.
- Good optimization and debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be able to function well in a small team environment
- Applicant must be able to multi-task as we have multiple projects under development
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excited about great code
- Excited about using sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Understand the Social Media value proposition
