Goals
- To maintain the security of the corporate network and systems by implementing the necessary equipment and tools to enhance the network infrastructure, while assisting in developing the needed security policies and monitoring their continuous enforcement
- To support the Network and Systems Engineers in solution designs from a security point of view
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or BE in Computer Software Engineering. Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT security, in a technical role
- Training and certification in one or more leading security tracks (HISP, CEH, CISSP ,CISM, CEPT, …)
- CISA certification is a plus
- CCNA certification is a must
- Training and certification in one or more leading network operating systems
- Certification and experience in one or more leading operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
- Knowledge and Experience in internet security services like: DNS, NTP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF...
- Network security experience including but not limited to: firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication systems, VPN, Encryption, LAN/WAN/WLAN Connectivity, web filtering, web proxies, log consolidation, patch management, vulnerability detection and remediation, incident response…
- Project management experience
Skills
- Strong working knowledge in analysis and design of wired and wireless network systems
- Good understanding of host and/or application security concepts
- Ability to meet with management to discuss and address security concerns
- Strong confidentiality and responsibility skills
