Restrata needs to recruit a Microsoft SharePoint Developer/Designer for a short term contract (Max 6 weeks). We need the resource to come in and finalise the SharePoint Design we have already installed, this would involve creating the company hierarchy and developing about 15 department landing pages and working with our Project support office to prepare it for content population and rollout. The SharePoint solution is going to be our intranet platform where our document repository will reside and where each department will perform day to day work activities.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Sciences or related major
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Hands on deep practical experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2010
- Solid understanding of all SharePoint features “out of the box” – how to use and customize “in browser” as well as from tools such as SharePoint Designer.
- Understanding of SharePoint feature/solution model to create and deploy customizations such as web parts, list event receivers, content types, list schemas, site page templates, application pages, publishing pages, etc.
- Experience programming with the SharePoint object model.
- Understanding of the development of InfoPath Forms 2010 and workflow solutions (including deployment of solution and workflow templates).
- Experience working with Microsoft Search and the API.
- Understanding of site branding including the development of site definitions.
- Involved in the development of public facing internet sites using SharePoint publishing features.
- Understanding of the new features and capabilities of both SharePoint 2010 and Visual Studio 2010.
- Development experience with a relational database – Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, including data access via ADO.NET, Entity Framework, REST, LINQ
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Business Intelligence capabilities of SQL Server.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence capabilities of SharePoint, including Performance Point.
- New track certifications such as MCTS, MCPD, or MCITP strongly preferred (and/or your desire to achieve and maintain certification). MCTS SharePoint certifications are of special interest to this position
