Business Applications
- Collect data to prepare requirements of new Business systems, search for 3rd parties who will handle these projects to provide company with right business solutions
- Write and communicate specs to the vendors in order to develop business applications needed
- Install and test business applications developed in order to ensure they meet the requirements and they are fully integrated with the main system (ERP)
- Prepare manuals and train administrators on the developed business applications in order to ensure a smooth implementation
New Business System
- Scan the market for new or upgraded software / hardware in order to provide technical feedback on each product
- Obtain competitive prices from vendors for the purchase of hardware / software to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and advise on appropriate actions and solutions in order to maintain optimized system performance
- Coordinate with vendors on problems in order to ensure they are properly and timely solved
- Document and track problems & resolutions in order to resolve accurately and promptly similar problems in the future
- Track and monitor all hardware repairs in order to highlight repetitive repairs
Inventory Documentation
- Keep appropriate records and correct inventory of hardware and parts related to the support systems in order to timely upgrade or renew our IT equipment
System Back-up
- Schedule and configure regular back up in order to ensure data recovery
- Check and troubleshoot locally & remotely (Sudan) back up reports, in order to ensure that back up is running successfully
Call One Software
- Generate periodical and on request Call One Software reports in order to monitor outgoing calls
Access Control Software
- Configure access cards and generate periodical and on request reports in order to ensure security access to the building
Hardware/Software/Maintenance & Licenses
- Make sure software licenses (Barracuda / Bluecoat..) are renewed on time in order to ensure business continuity and protect the company from legal action
Qualifications / Competencies / Experience:
- BA / BS in Business Computer / Management Information System / Computer Science
- 0 to 2 years of experience
