Web Developer - Visualizing Palestine - Lebanon/Jordan/Palestine

The Visualizing Impact (VI) team is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team full time in Amman, Beirut, or Ramallah. The new Web Developer will play a key role in bringing VI projects to life by shaping our online presence. In addition to experience in HTML5, Javascript, and CSS, familiarity with Ruby and Rails is desirable. The successful candidate will be familiar with trends in web design and technology; have a strong hold on relational databases, preferably POSTgreSQL; possess in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and APIs such as Facebook and Twitter; and be adept at object oriented analysis and design. Additionally, a strong team ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
