Develop, maintain and support automated configurations and test suites using Murex automation framework and techniques. Master Murex product technical aspects related to system architecture and testability
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests and automated stored configuration for MX products environments, based on validated and reviewed functional tests specification handed by business analysts, according to technical feasibility.
- Ensure timely technical support on developed artefacts during their life cycle in the continuous integration chain.
- Document own implementations, to promote knowledge sharing, ease of handover and cover upon forced or planned absence.
- Align tests implementations with team strategies and master the existing in-house test automation techniques. Use of generic reusable patterns for acceleration and efficiency in implementations. Enrich generic reusable test patterns library.
- Anticipate and Manage technical failures induced by the implemented test scripts and study efficient ways of enhancing their run and optimizing their performance.
- Master the use of the technical frameworks used for building and analysing tests.
- Develop technical expertise (architecture and testability) on Murex products, with relevancy to the testing scope and framework.
- Feedback on current automation techniques and suggest eventual spotted enhancements.
- Build and develop an internal network in Murex within and beyond Quality team, ensuring the proper contacts to advance progress on the daily tasks.
- Help deliver testing solution on-site for selected customers, and offer after-sales support for customers acquiring Murex testing solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineering degree (bachelor or masters) or equivalent from a reputable university
- 0/2 years experience in software development / software testing
- Good knowledge in scripting languages ANT, Groovy, Shell scripting (Unix, Windows). Basic knowledge in JAVA and understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
- Good knowledge in technical environments such as SQL, XML (XSL,XPATH), OS (Unix, Windows)
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Excel/VBA, PowerPoint, MS projects, Visio…)
- Knowledge in software testing frameworks is a plus (JUnit, TestNG,…)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Silk, Empirix, JRunner, etc.) is a plus
- English is a must. French a plus
